چکیده

Abstract We study jump-diffusion processes with two well-separated time scales. It is proved that the rate of strong convergence to the averaged effective dynamics is of order O(ε1/2), where ε 1 is the parameter measuring the disparity of the time scales in the system. The convergence rate is shown to be optimal through examples. The result sheds light on the designing of efficient numerical methods for multiscale stochastic dynamics.

Convergence of a Discretization Scheme for Jump-Diffusion Processes with State-Dependent Intensities

This paper proves a convergence result for a discretization scheme for simulating jumpdiffusion processes with state-dependent jump intensities. With a bound on the intensity, the point process of jump times can be constructed by thinning a Poisson random measure using state-dependent thinning probabilities. Between the jump epochs of the Poisson random measure, the dynamics of the constructed ...

Averaging principle for diffusion processes via Dirichlet forms

We study diffusion processes driven by a Brownian motion with regular drift in a finite dimension setting. The drift has two components on different time scales, a fast conservative component and a slow dissipative component. Using the theory of Dirichlet form and Mosco-convergence we obtain simpler proofs, interpretations and new results of the averaging principle for such processes when we sp...

Strong Convergence Rate for Two-Time-Scale Jump-Diffusion Stochastic Differential Systems

We study a two-time-scale system of jump-diffusion stochastic differential equations. The main goal is to study the convergence rate of the slow components to the effective dynamics. The convergence established here is in the strong sense, i.e., uniformly in time. For the ergodicity assumptions, we use the existence of a Lyapunov function to control the return times. This assumption is weaker t...

Diffusion Covariation and Co-jumps in Bidimensional Asset Price Processes with Stochastic Volatility and Infinite Activity Lévy Jumps

In this paper we consider two processes driven by diffusions and jumps. The jump components are Lévy processes and they can both have finite activity and infinite activity. Given discrete observations we estimate the covariation between the two diffusion parts and the co-jumps. The detection of the co-jumps allows to gain insight in the dependence structure of the jump components and has import...

Stabilized Numerical Methods for Stochastic Differential Equations driven by Diffusion and Jump-Diffusion Processes

Stochastic models that account for sudden, unforeseeable events play a crucial role in many different fields such as finance, economics, biology, chemistry, physics and so on. That kind of stochastic problems can be modeled by stochastic differential equations driven by jumpdiffusion processes. In addition, there are situations, where a stochastic model is based on stochastic differential equat...
